Nurse           :  “To  achieve  these  goals, I’ll  administer  a  bronchodilator  to help  open your  airways,
                                   provide a cough suppressant as prescribed by the doctor, and recommend light physical
                                   activities to build stamina without triggering pain.”


               Scenario 3: Orthopedic Concerns
               Case: Mr. Ali, a 45-year-old patient recovering from a knee injury, reports difficulty walking, swelling
               in the knee, and mild pain when bending his leg.

                Nurse           :  “Assalamu alaikum, Mr. Ali. How is your recovery going so far?”
                                   “Wa alaikum assalam. I still have trouble walking, and my knee is swollen. It also hurts
                Mr. Ali         :
                                   a bit when I bend it.”
                                   “I understand. Our priority will be to reduce the swelling, as it’s limiting your mobility.
                Nurse           :  After that, we’ll work on improving your physical mobility. Finally, we’ll address the mild
                                   pain with medication or therapy, if needed.”
                                   “Our goals are: (1) to decrease knee swelling by 50% within the next 3 days, (2) to help
                Nurse           :  you walk 10 steps without support by the end of the week, and (3) to ensure your pain
                                   level remains manageable below 3 during movement.”
                                   “To achieve these goals, I’ll apply a cold compress to reduce swelling, guide you through
                Nurse           :  gentle knee exercises to improve mobility, and administer a low-dose pain reliever to
                                   keep you comfortable.”
