FROM IMAGINATION TO SUCCESSFUL PRODUCT LAUNCH
experience with special customer interaction
possibilities, such as jumping and walking on a special
made surface similar to the bouncy effect of a running
shoe. We had a corner stand with all the bells and
whistles, flashing lights, signs, videos and to a certain
amount we had the budget to spend.
What we did find however, was that nobody wanted to
enter into the stand and engage. What we found out was
that the most effective tactic to attract people inside the
stand was simply by placing a big stand-alone
transparent jar of the raw material on a counter at the
entrance to the stand. People would stop and place their
hands in this large jar just to touch and feel the product
and this brought the exposure we needed to attract
them. So with a little cost for a glass jar we created the
awareness and simple customer experience for them to
engage further with the product.
