              ]49 [  One who sits in a succah, but his table is inside the house, is considered
              like eating outside of the succah by rabbinic enactment, for they [forbade this]
              less  he  be  drawn  after  his  table. 222   However,  if  some  of  his  table  is  inside  the
              succah, even if only one tefach, he fulfills his obligation, even if the [rest of the]
              table is in the house, because a table of one tefach is sufficient. 223

              222.   The mishna (Succah 28a) teaches that   where Beis Shamai requires the succah to hold
              Beis Shamai forbids one to eat while sitting in   a  table  measuring  at  least  a  tefach  and  Beis
              the  succah  if  his  table  is  inside  the  adjacent   Hillel  does  not.  There,  from  the  gemara  it  is
              house,  and  Beis  Hillel  permits  it.  Elsewhere   clear that the halacha follows Beis Shamai and
              (Succah  3a)  the  gemara  explains  that  while   a succah must be able to hold a small table as
              their argument centers around whether or not   well.   However,   the   rishonim   disagree
              we  are  concerned  about  him  being  drawn   regarding  the  case  of  a  larger  succah  where
              after  his  table,  which  would  result  in  eating   his  table  is  inside:    The  Rif  and  Rambam
              outside  of  the  succah,  they  also  disagree   understand  the  gemara’s  ruling  to  apply
              about  the  minimum  dimensions  of  a  succah,   equally to both cases, and the halacha follows
