            said, “You will never be accepted for military service.”
                   In April,  I  applied  to  the  City  Parks  Department,  hoping  for
            short-term employment to be followed by entrance at a graduate school,
            probably in personnel and/or public administration. I was assigned to
            supervise a city park called Lindsey Gardens. It was located close to the
            Salt Lake City Cemetery. It was great to be outdoors again. I painted the
            HTXLSPHQW EXLOGLQJV DQG QXUWXUHG WKH ÀRZHUV
                   I graduated in June with the rest of my class.  I remember Sam
            and Marie were late, which was a typical experience, and so I had to run
            to catch up with the rest of my class, which made me embarrassed and
            mad.
