who lived nearby and we had the chance to visit many times following the war. Our home, built during World War II, still
stands today, surrounded by modern development. Ajax has a rich history, and interviews and stories from those times are
archived at the Ajax Library. It’s fascinating to see how my early memories connect to the broader community narrative.
