Combinations of thousand and whole hundreds shall be transmitted by

mentioning each digit of the number of thousands followed by the word

THOUSAND followed by the number of hundreds followed by the word

HUNDRED.

- When clarification of the number transmitted as whole hundreds

and/or whole thousands is required, the number shall be transmitted

by mentioning each digit individually.

Ex: 12000 is ONE TWO THOUSAND

- For transmission of numbers and groups of numbers indicating flight levels

and transponder codes,

- flight levels must be sent by pronouncing each digit separately, except

for flight levels in whole hundreds, which must be transmitted by

pronouncing each digit of a hundred followed by the word HUNDRED

and

- transponder codes must be sent by pronouncing each digit separately,

except for transponder codes in whole thousands, which must be
transmitted by pronouncing each digit of a thousand followed by the

word THOUSAND.

In numbers containing a decimal, the word “decimal” must be mentioned when

transmitting.

4.3.3.1 Bearings, courses

Bearings and courses are indicated in writing with 3 digits, e.g. heading 020

degrees, but pronounced “heading twenty degrees”

4.3.3.2 Frequencies

When specifying channels for VHF frequencies, all 6 digits must be specified in
both Danish and English, unless the 5th and 6th digits are both zero. In that case,

only the first 4 digits must be specified.
