7.2.1 Departure procedures

Before departure, there are various things we need to have in order. For

example, we must have:

- completed and sent an ATC flight plan (not a requirement normally)

- informed ourselves about the airport areas – which runways can I use for

departure, taxiways, etc.

- obtained information about runways in use, wind, temperature, QNH, etc.

When flying from EKRK, we must always communicate with ATC during

departure. ATC will give instructions about route changes, altitude changes and

speeds, and inform the aircraft of any changes in the airspace.

7.2.1.1 ATC Flightplan

Before the flight, an ATC flight

plan is sent. When this is sent,

both the departure airport

and the arrival airport as well

as Copenhagen Information
are informed about our flight.
