Other clearances or air traffic control instructions, including conditional
clearances, must be repeated by the recipient or confirmed in a manner that
clearly indicates that the clearance and air traffic control instruction is
understood and will be followed.
The person providing air traffic services shall listen to the read-back to ensure
that clearances and air traffic control instructions are correctly confirmed and
shall immediately correct any discrepancies revealed by the read-back.
If the sender of a message being read back identifies errors or
misunderstandings, the reply shall be NEGATIVE, I SAY AGAIN, after which the
correct version shall be repeated.
