5.4 Operating hours

The operating hours are the

time when you can

communicate with the air traffic

unit.

In VFG you can see the operating

hours for service units and the

airport.

(This is Herning (EKHG))

It is important that you plan your flight so that you land within the operating

hours.

If you want to use the space outside normal operating hours, it is stated here

that “Prior Permission Required”. This means that you must have prior

permission to use the space, and you can apply for this no later than 1 hour

before closing time.

The following abbreviations are used to indicate service hours:

H24 = All day

HO = Service available to meet operational requirements (as needed)

HS = Service available during hours of scheduled operations (during scheduled

operations)

HX = No specific working hours

HN = Sunset to sunrise

HJ = Sunrise to sunset
