If Your Praise Is Sincere, Use It Often

You will find a difference in the way people behave around you if you
praise and compliment them.

I used to work with a very good manager, but he had one severe problem
when it cam to his employees; he wouldn’t compliment them.
Occasionally, when he would counsel them, they would explain to him that
they would be more effective if he would occasionally compliment their
work.

“I’m just not good at that kind of stuff,” was his reply.

Nonsense.

It doesn’t take anything more than thought and effort to compliment
someone.
