Combat Kick Boxing

          Baseball Bat: Long Range
          Situation Five: Your assailant throws
a downward strike at your knee.
          1) Move back rapidly out of range and
raise your leg to avoid the strike.
             (Fig. 144)
          2) Move in quickly and push your
assailant off balance at the arm and
             shoulder. (Fig. 145)
          3) Turn into a right spinning elbow
strike to the head. (Fig. 146)
          4) Hook his right ankle with your Fig 144
right foot and sweep him. (Fig. 147)
          5) Stamp down hard on his calf.
             (Fig. 148)

The sweep disrupts his balance and the
stamp on the calf is both non-lethal and
totally incapacitating. It will buy you
time to leave the scene. All kicks to the
leg have these twin advantages and,
should the case go to court, you could
point to your deliberate targeting of a
          non-lethal area. Fig 145
