There are other things that are dangerous. If
you look around, you will see there are some people
who are dangerous. There are people who are
violent, negative, or destructive. There are people
who have bad habits or values. It would be wise to
stay away from those people as far as possible.
There are dangerous activities. Pay attention
and you will see examples of errors and accidents
that happen. They are in the newspapers and on
the TV news virtually every day. It is important to
be observant, careful and thoughtful and take care
to avoid injuries. My son at one point had a
motorcycle, and he used to like to drive it fast. He
was a speed merchant who liked to go very fast. It
scared me to death. And I didn’t even know he went
140 miles per hour and even faster until later on.
He came within a hair’s breadth of being killed. He
was in an accident where his shoulder was split in
half. Fortunately for him, there was an EMT guy
right on the scene who was able to give him first
aid. He was also lucky that when his accident
happened, he wasn’t going very fast. The accident
happened only five minutes from the medical
