- Imposed from outside
- Be at the discretion of the Top Management
- Be a consensus of influences on Top Management
3: Purpose Ethos Strategy
Strategy is often seen as the
culmination of management’s
deliberations on assessment of the
internal and external
environments.
However, strategy is also
conditional upon the purpose of
the organisation: why it was set up
and the ethos of the organisation;
how it views itself.
