Control  Point),  to  conduct  four  visits  at  each

                                    supplier, to increase the awareness among the


                                    suppliers about hygiene issues. The following

                                    steps were taken during the campaign:


                                    i.     An  audit  of  the  suppliers‘  facilities  and

                                           procedures  was  conducted  by  Cristal


                                           Society.




                                    ii.    Cristal Society created a provision for a

                                           policy  document  on  procedures  and


                                           standards.




                                    iii.  Cristal  Society  also  offered  specific


                                           recommendations  to  each  vendor,  about

                                           improving  hygiene,  performance  and


                                           quality




                                    iv.  Follow-up  visits  were  conducted  to

                                           ascertain whether all suppliers adhere to


                                           the recommendations and guidelines.




                                     v.  Annual  visits  are  conducted  regularly  to

                                    these suppliers‘ facilities to ensure adherence


                                    to quality.
