                                    Besides  using  Promotions  as  a  means  to

                                    communicate  the  brand  message  to  the

                                    Publics,  tourism  marketers  could  further  use


                                    these in four ways.


                                     •  To  position  their  organization  on  the

                                    sustainable solutions it offers.




                                     •  To  motivate  consumers  to  include


                                    sustainable tourism product in their choice set

                                    and as their final purchase decision.





                                    • To promote ―environment-friendly practices‖

                                    among  tourists  like  insisting  on  lower  water


                                    consumption  by  especially  in  the  washrooms

                                    ―Ecological Footprints‖ can be reduced when


                                    tourism  managers  use  new  media  vehicles

                                    extensively in their  media  mix. Reducing the


                                    use of collateral like brochures and pamphlets

                                    and  inducing  consumers  to  download  a  soft

                                    version  of  the  collateral,  against  some  sales
