Standards and Certification
International Automotive Oversight Bureau (IAOB) is
one of the AB’s for the automotive standard, IATF
16949.
Accreditation by an independent oversight body helps
ensure impartiality, lack of conflict and competence of
the certification body. Further support is provided by
the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the
International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation
(ILAC), which oversee AB’s around the world.
