Accredited vs. Non-Accredited – What’s the big deal?
An initial worldwide accreditation process is not
something that takes a certification body months
or weeks to achieve…it takes years.
Increased Prospects. Many businesses
mandate that their suppliers and other business
partners be certified to ISO and other globally-
accepted standards. Dropping or not being
certified could cause a decline in clients and
prospects that have these requirements in place.
Maintaining or achieving certification can also
open doors to additional contract work or new
long-term clients.
International Opportunities. Being certified to
an internationally accepted standard elevates
businesses to an even playing field with other
businesses around the world. With accredited
certification, the target market can be broadened
to include prospects who previously were out of
reach.
Certification with Credentials. Getting certified
by an accredited certification body provides
certification with credentials. It is not just a piece
of paper that any other company can provide
after an “inspection” or “audit”. Companies can
rest assured knowing that their suppliers, like
their certification body, are held to the highest
standards, competency and practices to establish
a verifiable commitment to quality, the
