Certification Process

     6.  Planning  for  the  QMS  –  Assure  the  QMS  can
        achieve   its   intended   outcome(s),   prevent
        undesired effects & continually improve.
     7.  Support  –  Includes  planning,  customer-related
        design  and  development,  purchasing,  product
        and  service  provision  and  control  of  monitoring
        and measuring equipment.
     8.  Operation  –  Includes  general  analysis  of  data
        and improvement; monitoring and measurement,
        control of nonconforming product.
     9.  Performance  Evaluation  –  Includes  general
        analysis of data and improvement.
     10.  Improvement  –  Monitoring  and  measurement,
        control of nonconforming product.

     Between   the   initial   certification   audit   and
     recertification   audit,   surveillance   audits   are
     conducted.  The  first  surveillance audit  following  the
     initial certification must be conducted no more than 1
     year from the certificate decision of the registration.

     Surveillance audits are conducted on-site, but they do
     not  cover  all  of  the  company’s  processes  and
     standard’s  clauses  at  each  audit  like  the  initial  or
     recertification audits.

     The purpose of the surveillance audit is to ensure the
     company  maintains  its  management  system  in
     conformance  to  the  standard  in  between  the  initial
