Glossary of Terms
Management Review
The purpose of a management review is to evaluate
the overall performance of an organization's
management system and to identify improvement
opportunities. These reviews are carried out by the
organization's top managers and are done on a
regular basis.
Nonconforming Products
Products or services that do not conform to
requirements.
Nonconformity
Non-fulfillment of a requirement.
Normative References
A document that is indispensible for the application of
the standard.
Objective Evidence
The data supporting the existence or verity of
something. Objective evidence can be obtained
through observation, measurement, test, or other
means.
Organization
A group of people and facilities with an arrangement
of responsibilities, authorities and relationships.
Outsourced Process
Any process that is part of an organization’s
management system but is performed by a party that
