Good Business Management Practices
needs to be a reality. In order to succeed,

both parties have to win. It cannot be a one-
way relationship; the partnership must work for
          both companies.

      9. Be prepared for audits. As mentioned
previously, certification is not a one-time event.
It requires a commitment from all levels of an
organization and a focus on continuous
          improvement. Make the requirements a
standard part of your everyday culture,
including maintaining a strong, internal audit
          program.

      10. Be knowledgeable. There is so much to learn
in the world of certification. Training classes are
available for internal and lead auditors, as well
as process auditing, root cause analysis and
defining key processes, to name a few. The
format for these classes varies from webinars,
          web-based, classroom and blended
(combination of online and classroom training).
