Coverage for Congenital Craniofacial Anomalies

• AGD has been a longtime supporter of effort to require health

insurers, including ERISA plans, to cover medically necessary

services, including dental treatment, for patients with

congenital anomalies

• The Ensuring Lasting Smiles Act (S.754/H.R.1916) was

introduced in March in both the House and Senate with

bipartisan support

• AGD is working with AAOMS to advance the bill

• 296 House & 40 Senate cosponsors
