Fire Station No 2 Addition & Renovation

Fire Station No 3 (Roscoe, IL) is the District’s northernmost station, which houses the District’s
training tower and training bay. A previous addition completed for the building fell short of
expectations, and this project corrected those shortcomings. The new addition provided proper
Apparatus Bay support spaces and residence for the firefighters, while also providing a new
large training wing to serve the District and neighboring firefighters.

Fire House No.2

The plan for this 17,000 SF, $4,600,000 House No. 2 consists of three drive-through bays as well as
separate living quarters and a day room for privacy. Up to six full-time firefighters can be
accommodated in the living quarters per shift with separate shower rooms adjacent to each
bunk room. The day room is adjacent to a full kitchen and dining room. The project was funded
through successful passage of an October 2014 by the Maryland Heights Fire Protection District.
