               DECADE: 2010s

               Imperiled Pollinator

Threats to the Monarch butterfly began drawing notice in the 2010s. The butterfly's
impressive migration range extends from Canada to Mexico, east to west. Their
importance to biodiversity has become an urgent tale of our need to protect the natural
               world.

Imperiled Pollinator is a whole-cloth quilt, designed in Photoshop and on the iPad. The
image has been printed on satin, then machine and hand stitched.
