DECADE: 1970s
A meditation on memory and place, my work redefines aging fiber artifacts through
needle-weaving and knotting.
Anymore is built on horse fly nets from the 1970s. Referencing "Not in Kansas
anymore," it's inspired by the remnant prairies near my childhood home, the horses
from a nearby stable that would clomp down our suburban street, and a slew of
memories that confront the gap between wistful nostalgia and objective reality.
