                                                 WORK AND PRAY

“When we work, we work. When we pray, God works”

“One favor from God may end years of fruitless labour.”

“The blessing of God makes rich and adds no sorrow with it” – The Holy Bible

I believe in work. It is good to work. Work is the antidote for poverty, so says an adage. In

fact, a man that would not work should not eat, says the Holy Bible. God wants you to

apply for jobs, get a job, work, and earn income so that you will not be a burden on
others. But there are limits to your efforts. There is a realm of bliss that transcends all

human efforts, qualifications, skills, and competencies. It is a realm of the supernatural,
the miraculous. It happens when your healthy desires are rooted in faith and backed by

prayers. Somehow, miraculously, people have got jobs they did not so much qualified for,
On the other hand, people have been thrown out of jobs where they have all the

qualifications and all that was required. How do you explain that? It is a two-way thing,

and that is where prayer and faith comes in; for God to send his blessings upon your job
               applications and efforts.

Learn to commit all you do to God’s hands through prayer. Prayer works, and praying is

a clever work. Prayer is not what you do last, but what you should do in the first place
and always, all along. Prayer and work should go together. Do not neglect to seek the

blessings of God over what you do. Ask God to make your task easier, show you a better

way of getting results and avoiding loses, send you enough resources, associate you with
great minds and grant you favour. When all these are in place, you will rise in your career

without stress and your business will expand with ease. Your approach to work should
not be “all work and not pray, or all praying and no work,” but “work and pray.” The two

               should go together.

That said, prayer should not be an excuse not to work, and work should not be an excuse

not to pray. Do not be too busy and self-confident to commit your work to the hands of
God. Do not only pray, work too; do not only work, also pray. There are things prayer can
