 Mainly used on wide web presses for thin plates, or when it’s necessary to compensate for lack of thickness to
mount plates to sleeves.

CLOTH TAPE 174

 Width: 285 mm x 25 mt;
 Thickness: 0.318 mm without liner
 Generally used on older printing and bag machines in the industry;
 Can convert them over to use 15 thou cushion mount – Which will achieve better print results;
 Old Mark Andy 830 label machine use this tape as well.
 Good replacement for Tessa cloth tape.
 Scapa 174 is a double sides tape on a woven cotton, coated on both sides with an aggressive, natural rubber
based adhesive system. The product is supplied on an easy-release natural kraft or bleached paper liner.

HARD MOUNT 100, 200 AND 300 MICRON
 Width: 310 x 12.5 MT or 25mt;
 The filmic tape is used to mount stereos onto print rollers and as packing to raise the plate height when the print
height is too low;
 This is mainly used for line work and solid printing;
 Also used on sleeves where the cushion is built into the sleeve and only requires the 100 hard mount

 Label, Litho, corrugated, textile labels, bag makers, Letterpress
