PRODUCT SALES (THE HOLY GRAIL):
     This tab is where the TSC and for that matter, most staff will spend the majority of their time. It is probably the single
     most useful tab in each of the customer, supplier and inventory section (YES – each of these navigation menus have a
     similar “product history” grid) which can be used to manipulate information and extract data effortlessly. The main thing
     to remember about this screen, is that it will always show up as a blank when clicking on it – this is because you have to
     prompt the application to go and extract the necessary information for your particular customer.

     If you think that this is a cumbersome process, imagine the time and CPU input it would require to extract this information
     for every single customer, when the application loads? What about sales that happen during the course of the day? Hence,
     the reason why there is the below button – “Retrieve products”

     The above screen has already extracted the product sales for this customer. This shows all product sales in the entire
     history files of the company. Generally, we have always cleared history older than 3 years – from 2017 we will no longer
     be doing this in order to keep a longer history of our customer purchases.

     Let’s take a closer look at some of the filters that can be applied:

         - The blue column headings below the shaded area, are fully customisable as follows:
                o Each heading can be dragged and placed between any other heading (simply click and drag the heading to
                    move it between the various headings);
                o The headings can also be dragged into the shaded area (as per above) to group the relevant information
                    by that heading title (the above information has been grouped by the stock code);
                o Alternatively, the information can be sorted by clicking on a heading and changing the direction of the
                    arrow (see “Date” heading above, this has sorted from newest to oldest invoice for the various stock
                    codes);
                o   Similarly, by clicking on a heading, there is also a manual drop down filter which can be applied;
         - The above settings will then apply to all other Product Sales screens, until you clear all the relevant filters (this
            applies to any other grid on any other screen);

                                                                                         CRM TRAINING MANUAL    18
