1. Recall rice in cold water. It did not dissolve. Could we get the rice out again? How?
(Do it)

2. Once sugar is dissolved (or salt) can we get it back again? If we cannot get the sugar
out, can we get rid of the water so that the sugar is left behind? (Leave a little sugar
solution in a saucer in a sunny place.)
