1 Message from Secretary General

The GNOC Office Policies and Procedures Manual is designed to provide all our Employees and
Members of the Executive Board the governance rules covering the administration and operation of
the GNOC Office.

In addition the manual also provides everyone with information on Policies, Systems and Procedures
put in place for the efficient management of our staff to enable us to maintain an efficient operation
and administration of various areas of GNOC activities.

GNOC employees will find conditions of their employment explained in much more detail.

I encourage all staff and Members of the Executive Board to familiarize themselves with this Manual.

This document is not final as there will be changes from time to time. These will be communicated to
you as and when they occur.

If for whatever reason, you wish to discuss any section or portion of the contents of the Manual please
contact me or the Executive Director.

I thank each one of you for the part you have played in making GNOC so successful.

I hope you will find the contents of the attached Manual useful in making you a well-informed member
of GNOC.
