1. Abstract
Nowadays, most employers are providing a friendly environment for their
employees to have a pleasant life so that employees will be passionate about
their work and get motivated. Hence, many companies are focusing on the
employees’ working environment, benefits and facilities. Out of all the staff
benefits, employers focus the most on healthcare-related perks as many
employees prefer companies with good medical facilities and healthcare
programmes.
Thus, many global companies put efforts to create a healthy working
environment for their employees. Our group hopes to find out what kind of
medical treatment the employees need from the company and in order to
fulfill the need of the employees what kind of efforts the company put on
through this research.
2. Introduction
In the 21st century, companies tend to treat employees as important
professionals, not resources. This change led to the change of the overall
employment welfare system. Famous global corporations, such as Fedex and
Google, support a sufficient amount of free time and proficient healthcare
systems for their employees. Their stance is that employees have to be
considered more than profit, and that will ultimately lead to the growth of the
company. We are going to research and present if a good employee welfare
system leads to the benefits of working efficiency and employee satisfaction.
