TRENTSIDE SHORT MAT BOWLS CLUB 33

Trentside is a club with around 26 members playing throughout the year in the North
Lincs League, Humberside South League and Bishop Norton League. As well as playing in
the competitive leagues we also have social games throughout the year..... and a few internal
competitions.
Another winter season is now done and dusted and all our teams had a bumpy ride at
times. The White team just missed out on promotion from Division One in the North Lincs
League while the black team struggled to a mid-table position in Division One.
In the Humberside League the White team gained promotion from Division Two in sec-
ond place with the same number of points as the winners. The Black team finished Humber-
side Division One Champions, but narrowly lost in the Champion of Champions from the North
Division. Special congratulation goes to our Trentside team as they are the Champions of
the Bishop Norton League Northern Division for the second year running.
