infinitive, "to be"). It is the German form of the existential expletive, which, as in most European
languages, is expressed idiomatically. Heidegger, after Nietzsche, used the word, but as a gerund
synonym for "human being" or "human entity." I related to that premise and in coming up with
the MORB concept first imagining identifiable traits that everyone in conversation must be having
an M.O. whose intentions and communication I observed were often repeatedly signifying an orbit
around a fixated thought that is ‘Rationally or relationally considered’ and is revealed through
some aspect of Behavior.
MORB is then a new coinage for a remote sense of distracted being while sharing
familiarities MORB exists as a modal. MORB thinks for itself and adopts persona traits expressed
in language, mannerism and detached reasoning. In relating specifically to the Mass Trance, I use
the term MORB purposely so it is not confused with ambiguous words such as "person,"
"consciousness," "soul," or "spirit," so as I write about it (restrained from this idea becoming the
main theme of this dissertation is yet an essential element of understanding identification of
persona that exists in social settings yet may free its constraint by participating in group dialogue
referencing ‘other’). MORB is a new way of approaching what other nouns point towards without
broad connotations beyond the scope of the persona mechanics interacting fomenting dialogue.
The “Mass” in Trance describes a wide sociological-psychological phenomenon that
occurs within MORB life and structures it’s daily experience. Therefore, it can be deeply studied
by observing groups of people and can be related to the effects of socialization and conformity
within society which results in an irrational view or dysfunctional decision-making outcome. It
can be observed in Community Conversations and group interactions in general as members try to
minimize conflict and reach a consensus decision without critical evaluation and minimizing
