that each product is created with the needs and wants of your target
audience in mind.
In the months following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tik Tok
social media platform gained popularity as its main Gen Z audience spent
most of their time at home due to coronavirus restrictions. And thanks to
great recommendations from Generation ZZ skin care influencers Cerave
products to their audience, veteran skincare brand TikTok took by storm.
While the brand's messaging itself is still focused on being the number one
skincare brand recommended by dermatologists, they have faked their
strategy to include YouTube creators and TikTok influencers, and sometimes
even dermatologists who are also content creators on these platforms to
include.
STEP 4: RESEARCH YOUR CONSUMERS' NEEDS
After you've decided on your target market, the next step in developing a
skincare product marketing strategy is research.
Here are some important pieces of information to be sure I have for our
customers:
o What are your main skincare requirements?
o Are there any ingredients that you prefer - natural or synthetic?
o How do they collect information about the products they use most
often?
o Get a list of keywords related to your audience's interest and feedback.
You need to do a keyword search to determine what topics people are
interested in and how many searches there are per month. The operational
term here is topics - by researching keywords that get a high search volume
