Shrimp and Green Onion

                                          Fritters


                                         Ingredients




               ½ cup seasoned flour
                ½ cup regular flour
               1 ½ cups fine diced onion
               3 tbsp chopped parsley
               ¼ cup chopped green onion
                ½ chopped jalapeno pepper
               3 cloves minced garlic
               1 tsp vinegar
               ½ tsp baking soda
               1 cup milk
               6 oz finely chopped shrimp
               1 oz lemon juice



                                         Lagniappe



               Mix the seasoned flour, regular flour baking soda, onions, parsley, green
               onions, jalapenos and garlic.  Whisk in the milk, vinegar and lemon juice and
               fold in the shrimp.

               Heat some oil in a deep fryer to 350 and spoon the batter into the oil, cook
               till lightly browned.

               Serve with Remoulade sauce.
