Lime sauce



                                         Ingredients





               1 lime halved
               ½ cup water
               ¼ cup sugar
               2 tsp cornstarch
               1 tsp vanilla extract


                                         Lagniappe




               Dissolve the cornstarch in ¼ cup of water.

               Squeeze 2 tbsp of lime juice and place in a small sauce pan;

               Add the lime halves, water and sugar and bring to a boil.

               Stir in the cornstarch and vanilla and cook for about a minute over high heat
               stirring constantly

               Remove the lime halves and serves on plate under bread pudding makes
               about ¾ cup.
