UP AND  AWARE - 8

                 Discuss:

                      1. What are some of the things Meera can do when she sees her sister
                          using her colour pencils?

                      2. What are some of the things Meera can do to prevent an external

                          conflict from growing or escalating, after she has yelled at her sister?

                      3. Here are some things that Meera can choose to do. Which ones do you
                          think will prevent a conflict from escalating?

                    Put a () for the things that you think are right to do and a () for things that

                    are not right to do.

                    Explain the reason.

                    1. Meera blames her sister for making her more angry when she is already going
                       through an internal conflict.

                    2. Meera takes away all the things she has ever given to her sister, including

                    3. Meera gets angry when she sees her sister using her colour pencils but before

                       saying anything, asks her sister if she had allowed her to use them.

                      ______________________________________________________________

                    4. Meera yells at her sister, takes away all the presents she has given to her and gets
                       punished by her parents. She apologises to her sister because her parents ask
                       her to.
