Beginning:

Did you know that the fruits, vegetables and honey that you eat are also
made by tiny buzzing bees? Surprised? It’s true though. Honeybees are
pollinators and this means that they do not just buzz
from one flower to another, drinking nectar to
make honey, but they also carry seeds
of fruits and crops on their hind
legs. They drop these seeds near
where they picked them up from
causing more of the same plant

or crop to grow and improve
its quality. Humans should be
saying ‘thank you’ to honeybees
around the world.

Paired Exercise and Discuss:

Find out at least five plants, fruits or crops that cannot grow without the help of honeybees.
