emitted by the school bus/car you ride in or the water/air pollution caused in the production
of your clothes, all add to the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Your carbon footprint is the total amount of carbon dioxide that is released into the air,
water and soil due to all the activities that you engage in.
Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas which absorbs the heat leading to global warming. It is
also the same gas that we breathe out when we exhale.
One way of caring for the environment and, in turn, for planet Earth is through reduction
of your carbon footprint.
