                We can all show our concern for the environment by making an effort to reduce our carbon
                footprint in everything we do.

                    Exercise:

                You don’t need to look far to reduce your carbon footprint. To do this, you need to do an
                audit or a check of your carbon footprint.

                Pull out your lunch box from your bag. (If you have already finished your lunch, then think
                back on the things you carried from home and the food and drink you may have bought

                from the canteen.)
                                                       •   Count the number of boxes, bags and bottle.

                When you reuse things and not throw them in the dustbin after using them only once, you
                are not just reducing your footprint but also caring for the environment.

                Each time you care for the environment, you help make the planet a better place to live in

                for yourself and for all other living beings.





                        Exercise and Discuss:
                In groups of four to six, spread out to different parts of the school to conduct an audit on
                how much garbage is produced in a day.

                Groups can head to the canteen/cafeteria, classrooms, medical room, staffroom, playground

                field and other parts of the school.
