Abigaile: (cheerfully, as they leave)
"Bye, Mr. Policeman! I’ll see you again!"

Javi stands in the alley, watching them disappear into the shadows. His heart is pounding, his mind
racing. He knows what he’s just done could cost him everything, but for the first time in years, he feels
like he’s done the right thing.

Javi: (muttering to himself)
"See you again, huh? Maybe you’re right, kid… maybe I am different."
He takes one last look at the empty alley and walks away, his thoughts heavier than ever before.
