Together, we prepare people for work.

               PAY FREQUENCY
Employees are paid bi-weekly, every other Friday, unless a holiday occurs on a payday. In that case,
they are paid the day prior to the holiday. The regular workweek begins on Sunday and ends on
               Saturday.

An employee may elect to receive their pay via a live check (mailed to employees’ homes), automatic
direct deposit into a checking or savings account, or a pay card. Information regarding direct deposit or
pay cards can be found on the GESMN intranet or by contacting Payroll at payroll@gesmn.org.

               PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS
Goodwill-Easter Seals is required by law to make certain deductions each pay period from employee
paychecks. Some deductions are optional and are made only if the employee has authorized the
               deduction.

Pay statements include detail of all earnings and deductions. For direct deposit and pay cards, pay
statements will automatically be electronically sent; however, employees can elect to receive a paper
statement to be sent in the mail in the online HR system. Employees are responsible for promptly
notifying their manager or Payroll of changes to or errors in deductions. Adjustments are typically
reflected in the employee’s next paycheck.

RIGHT TO DISCLOSE AND DISCUSS WAGES

Goodwill-Easter Seals does not (1) require nondisclosure by an employee of their wages as a condition
of employment, (2) require an employee to sign a waiver or other document which denies an employee
the right to disclose the employee’s wages to another, or (3) take any adverse employment action
against an employee for disclosing the employee’s wages or discussing another employee’s wages which
               have been disclosed voluntarily.
If Goodwill-Easter Seals violates any of the previously mentioned rights with respect to an employee
who resides in Minnesota, that employee may bring a civil action against GESMN and seek remedies
               under Minnesota’s Wage Disclosure law.

               EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT

               PROMOTION, REASSIGNMENT, AND TRANSFER

To provide employees with opportunities for career development, Goodwill-Easter Seals strives to fill
job openings by promoting, strategically realigning, and hiring internal candidates whenever possible.
This provides benefits to both employees and GESMN. Employees can increase their skills, broaden their
