                                                     The COVID-19 pandemic severely affected the arts and culture
                                                     in Taiwan. The NSYSU Social Engagement Center responded
                                                     to the relief project of the Ministry of Culture by announcing
                                                     a related administrative assistance project aimed at helping
                                                     performing art groups get through this difficult time. The Center
                                                     established a working group to provide artistic and cultural
                                                                                      groups in the Kaohsiung,
                                                                                      Pingtung,  and Taitung
                                                                                      areas with guidance
                                                                                      and advice on how to
                                                                                      write an application for
                                                                                      a subsidy to the central
                                                                                      government; the team
                                                                                      even delegated members
                                                                                      to directly help with the
                                                                                      related  administrative
                                                                                      work.
