1.6.2 Recommended Option
Based primarily on the highest total score achieved above, the following option one has
been recommended through design, analysis and manufacture processes.
Figure 8 chosen option
This option is able to carry only one driver and consists of ½ inch round steel pipes and
40x40 square steel pipes with thicknesses of 2.77 mm and 3 mm respectively. The
dimensions of the frame is 2.2 m length, 1.3 m width and 1.2 m height. It has four wheels,
2 doors, 17 inch rims, two front headlights, two front indicators, two rear turn indicators
and two rear brake lights. It has four discs with brake calipers mounted at each wheel.
