Our P.T. instructors, Miss Murphy and Mr. Rich, arrived
today.

April 24 : We were addressed by Mr. McColm at our own Anzac
Commemoration Service.
April 25 : The cadets took part in the Anzac Day March through
Wynnum.
April 26 : No sleep till morn when Youth and Pleasure meet.

Our first term social was a good success. A. Evans was
our M.C.
May 14 : Mr. Edwards addressed us at the second term service.
May 16 : "The game's afoot." "Henry V."
Rugby League fixtures started.
May 26 : "What's lost upon the roundabouts, we pulls up on the
swings ! " P. Chalmers.
There was fine weather for the School's Annual Fete
opened by Senator Cooper. Some of the Items to be seen
were, the hobbies display, the girls' work stall, the sixth
form "darts" and "roll 'ems." A Mannequin Parade, and
an Apron Parade and a Parade by the Cadet Unit.
June 4 : The Cadets took part in the Royal Review at Victoria
Park.
June 6-9 : High School Students went to see "Macbeth" acted by
the Twelfth Night Theatre Company.
June 8, 9, 11 : Mr. S. Greene gave us complimentary tickets to
see "Wuthering Heights" at the Star.
June 15 : "Come, and trip it as you go,
On the light fantastic toe." J. Milton.
J. "Sandy" Robertson's Dancing Classes commenced. We
had our first G.P. on the new Bitumen-surfaced Parade
Ground at the back of the School.
June 26 : "Look to the left, and look to the right, and you'll very
seldom get run over."
