Parents' and Citizens' Association
We are proud to be able to submit a report in your magazine
each year, as we feel by doing so we are a part of the school
organisation.
This year we have tried to help within the school, with
improvements such as : a new piano, public address system,
library, and amenities for the sick bay, and other items.
The development of the oval is being watched with great
interest for as soon as it is levelled off, we can then play our
part in the improvements, by fencing it and then making it a
cricket, football and athletics oval. A dressing room with showers,
and a grandstand will also be erected.
We thank the pupils and parents for their support at our
functions and we were glad to be able to help the pupils at
their Junior and Senior farewell party and school dance, as
again we feel we are very close to them. This is always the
aim of our Association.
Although we know we had the support of the parents
especially at our fete, we would be pleased to see more parents
at our meetings so as to lighten the burden which has been
carried by a few members in the past.
The willingness to support us in our work, by the Principal,
Deputy Principal and staff, is greatly appreciated and without
this help, we, with our small membership, would find it impossible
to carry on raising the money needed to lift the standard of your
playing areas in keeping with the scholastic level of the school.
