FORM 2C -
                         Form Teacher: Miss Cribb
Form Captains: Sandra Mather, John Hockings
We are very proud of the achievements of our members in all branches
of sport. Our best girl runner is Kerry Dare who was third in the 13 years
championship in the Inter-School Sports. Lyn Dunstan was also in the Inter
School Relay. Kerry broke the record in the 75 yards School Championship
and Sonya Mather gained second place in the goal throwing. Twelve girls play
basketball every Wednesday and the remaining two play hockey.
Our boys have been outstanding in football. M. Rowley, H. Saarinen, B.
Harpur, T. Bain and R. Keable were in the team which won the Zone Premier
ship and B. Harpur took part in selection trials for a Queensland team. Two
boys play tennis and one basketball.
Earlier in the year, seven boys played in the cricket and Yvonne Buckley
and Douglas Schmidt were in the swimming teams in the Primary School
     Relays.
Our study record is not quite as good as our sport record but M. Rowley
is our top scholar. Our girls are interested in other subjects—Kay Wilson,
Shirley Dale and Irene Finlay entering in art and essay competitions. Yvonne
Buckley has shown her dancing ability by appearing on television and T. Bain.
     R. Keable and Kay Wilson are our pianists.
We are pleased that both boys and girls take an interest in outside organisa
tions, with three boys in the Scouts, one girl in the Guides, Lyn Dunstan a
captain in the Pathfinders and Robert Keable successful in boxing in a Gordon
     Club.
