ay 6 (30.10.2023), the group visited the Ramnagar Fort on the eastern bank of the Ganges River. This
Dfort, constructed from sandstone, is a classic example of Mughal architecture. In the evening, the
group boarded a boat at Assi Ghat to appreciate the activities taking place at each riverside ghat and enjoy
the scenic views along the Ganges. The Ganges is regarded as the most sacred river in India, affectionately
referred to as ‘Mother’ by its residents, as it is deeply intertwined with the civilisation of ancient India and is
fundamental to the country’s beliefs, culture, society, and history.
