Use: An excellent water absorbent (It can absorb 20 times its weight of water).
B-Vascular Plants
A- Seedless Vascular Plants
They are vascular plants contain xylem and phloem (have no flower or seed).
Include 4 divisions. The largest is pterophyte (Ferns).
According to the size of leaves, they are classified into:
I- Microphyllous type II- Megaphyllous type
Small leaves and large stems. Relatively larger leaves and small stems
as ferns of division Pterophyta.
▪ Lycopodium “division ▪ Whisk ferns (division Psilophyta) are
