Chapter Eleven
A Miracle…Please…
I WANTED TO have my own place, so I got an apartment in
July of 2007. Nicole stayed with me for a short time. That
December of 2007, almost a year after being released from
the hospital, I met a guy on a dating site named Roy. I was
still very depressed and wasn’t quite sure if I was ready for
dating, but still tried. He broke up with me after a few weeks.
We got back together, and I broke up with him. We got back
together, and he broke up with me again. A few days later,
February 8, 2008, I woke up and my depression was
completely gone. It was just gone. This was strange because
I should have been sad about the breakup, but it felt like a
dark cloud had finally been lifted off me.
Also, I had remembered that Roy was not for Jesus
Christ. To 'fit in' with him, I initially denied Christ, which was
wrong. I later told Roy that I still believed in Jesus. Oddly, we
got back together, for a short while, and he asked me to marry
him. He was making plans for our future and showed me a
photograph of ring he had ordered for me. I honestly did not
want to marry him because it didn't feel right, but after a fit
