I found that knowing Christ, and submitting to Him in
obedience, is the good life. Also, He empowers us to follow
Him.

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit

will I put within you: and I will take away the stony
heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new
creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the

With my background of being exposed to Satanism,
new age practices, “positive thinking myself into lies,” and

doing drugs, there was always something missing. Even
when I had my family around, cash on hand, romantic love,
and tons of friends, I was still missing God. It was Him who
I was searching for the entire time. We all are or were. We
look for Him because we were made to be in a relationship

with Him. We cannot function like we were originally
intended to function because we are born into sin, broken
from a relationship with Him, which is why we must be born-
again (receive the Holy Spirit) and restored to have spiritual
life.
